Started a GoFundMe campaign for Alamo Liaison Squadron, a nonprofit organization, for the construction of a new Museum Hangar Door. The facility houses a collection of still-flying, historic aircraft. These liaison aircraft, also known as L-birds, were used in World War II in numerous non-combat roles.

Two Bearhawk LSA Aircraft Make Their First Flights

AUSTIN, TEXAS, DECEMBER 29, 2016 – Bearhawk Aircraft announced today the FIRST FLIGHTS of TWO Bearhawk LSA aircraft built by customers from Quick-Build kits. Owner/builders Bruce McElhoe of California and Bob Way of Alabama completed, certified and flew their Bearhawk LSAs, the first two completions, in November 2016.
