Bearhawk Aircraft Now Flying on Five Continents

Austin, Texas, March 28, 2017 – Bearhawk Aircraft announced today its Bearhawk line of utility, transport and recreational aircraft are now flying on five continents. The Barrows Bearhawk was originally conceived and first built in the mid-90s in Virginia, USA. Bearhawk aircraft are now operating globally through an expansive network of builders. Three models are offered in both plan and kit form for amateur aircraft builders.

The global Bearhawk is a “Go Anywhere” aircraft that serves a variety of flying activities. Designer Bob Barrows originally brought the aircraft to fruition as a means of transporting aircraft engines in support of his engine overhaul business. The Bearhawk grew from that single idea into a lean and reliable airframe that found a place among adventure pilots. From rural strips and backcountry destinations, the Bearhawk can easily haul passengers plus gear.
